The Devil's Syndicate

Devil's Syndicate is a hard-boiled thriller novel that is an homage to
the police crime novels and action movies of the 1970's and 80's. Taking
place in the modern era it's the first in a series on Simon Hawk, a
former San Francisco vice cop who goes into business for himself as a
bounty hunter after a tragic event takes his child and leaves his wife
in a coma. When a millionaire healthcare investor asks Hawk to find his
daughter, he throws himself into an investigation that will take him
into the deepest depths of the Florida Everglades...and straight into
the hands of a murderous cult.
